Viktor and Jayce. Viktor catches Jayce at the edge of the ruined office. that night they made a breakout discovery about hextech. Heimerdinger grants them permission to continue researching it in his office and the two become lab partners! Jayce has this growing feeling for Viktor, but can't describe what he's feeling. he begins to catch himself spacing out thinking about him. Viktor admires Jayce. It takes him a while to catch hints of Jayce's feelings, but when he does they don't hold back.

Viktor woke up to a bang. Jayce was at the front door, smeared blood on his cheeks as if he had tried wiping it away. "Jayce?" Viktor asked, walking closer. "What happened? Did you walk back here? Where's the car? Where were you?" Viktor rambled, worriedly rushing over. Jayce was crying. He stood still, sniffling as tears fell down his frozen cheeks. Viktor tried touching him, but his hand went right through. His face dropped as he watched Jayce, who finally spoke. "I'm so sorry," Jayce whispered. "I'm trying so hard. I'll be home soon." "Sorry? For what? What did you do? And what do you mean you're trying? How long is soon!?" Viktor's questions sounded more like pleas as he desperately tried to hang onto Jayce, fingers slipping past the blue hue covering him. "I love you, Viktor." Jayce's body slowly faded away. "Jayce?
