Mr. Chankimha and Mr. Armstrong exchanged satisfied nods, envisioning a harmonious future for their daughters. Becky Armstrong offered a gentle smile, a hint of curiosity in her gaze as she sat beside her parents. Across from her, Freen Sarocha Chankimha maintained her composed demeanor, a subtle whirring of logical gears turning within.
"We believe a marriage between Freen and Becky would be a most... harmonious arrangement," Mr. Chankimha stated, his voice was warm.
Freen, after a deliberate pause, countered, "While I acknowledge the logical benefits of familial compatibility, the variable of romantic affection remains unquantified." Her gaze turned to her parents. "Therefore, I propose a Phase One: Pre-Nuptial Romantic Involvement Protocol. A period of strategically designed interactions to assess our romantic compatibility."
A beat of surprised silence followed. Becky, however, leaned forward, intrigued. "So, Freen... you want to study me... romantically?"
Freen's analytical gaze met Becky's. "In essence, yes. To gather sufficient data for a successful and affectionate marital bond."
