Beneath the Tile is a confession scraped from the edge. It's late nights alone on unfinished floors, a trowel in one hand and a rolled-up bill in the other. It's the story of a man laying perfect lines while everything else falls apart-his body, his mind, his family. Meth didn't start the story. But it rewrote it. This is what it looks like when the job doesn't stop just because your sanity does. When you're tiling through psychosis. When the windows start watching you. When even the bag in your pocket feels holy. There's light in this book-but it doesn't come easy. It's earned through madness, blood, and silence. Through scraped knees on concrete and the long crawl back toward something like hope. It's not a story of survival. It's a reckoning that somehow lived. 4/30/25 #1- autobiography #1- memoir #1- gritty #1- real #1- redemption

Dear Reader: You are precious, priceless, and irreplaceable. In the entire history -- of the entire universe: In the history of all Eternity... There has been, and ever will be, only one you. Herein are opinions, observations, and things autobiographical. These essays and editorials were written within, oh, 2 or 3 years. I've survived autism, mania, depression, amnesia, multiple personalities, being borderline suicidal as a teenager ... and aardvark pox. (Or was it turkey pox?) My "editorial opinions" prove that I'm a fearless, ferocious... ¿Were-Chihuahua? [Every full moon, I turn into an ankle biter.] Me?? Delusional?? Nope. So, OF COURSE, I'm "considering" a career in American politics. {Made you smile.} Or cry: sorry about that. This ain't your typical autobiography. No. It is not. Seriously, though: "I've survived myself" is an acceptable legacy.
