Strings Attached: A Descendants OC Fanfiction

Esteban Felipe de la Cruz, son of that Ernesto de la Cruz, doesn't have much going for him.
He's never even met the man, but his father's dirty reputation follows him everywhere like a bad smell: liar, fraud, murderer... all the good stuff.

Felipe has one dream and one dream only: to be a famous musician. The kind that doesn't need a last name to be remembered.

There's just one problem. He's terrible with crowds.

When he gets a chance to leave the Isle and stay and study in Auradon, Felipe thinks maybe... this could be the start of something bigger. A real shot at the life he wants.

But the problem isn't the distance. It's what lies in between.

Which means a series of mean, smug Auradon kids. Teachers who don't want him there. Being judged for every breath he takes.

Felipe's used to being underestimated, but nobody ever warned him how lonely it would feel trying to prove he's worth something.

Between rough days, slammed doors, and a beaten-up guitar, Felipe fights to hold onto the only thing that's ever truly been his: his music.

And maybe, if he's lucky, he'll find something else along the way.
Something, or someone, worth staying for.
