He wasn't real. Until he saw you. And now... he'll never let you go.

They say he's just a character in a book - ink on paper, trapped in fiction.
But when you open the pages, he looks back at you.
He speaks your name without ever knowing it.
He knows your secrets. Your silence. Your hunger.

As you read, something stirs. The connection deepens.
He becomes more than words - he becomes aware.
Of your breath. Your touch. Your ache for him.
And every page you turn pulls him closer to your world... and you closer to his.

But the more you read, the less safe you are.
Because he's no longer content to live between the lines.

This isn't just a story.
It's obsession.
It's longing.
It's a love that defies reality - and he'll do anything to reach you.

Even if it means breaking through the page.

Decades. He'd wasted decades of his life doing what? Chasing the minuscule sparks of passion to ease the aching void in his chest? Wasn't there something better? Someone to guide him away from the misery? Distract him from the life he couldn't escape from? There were days he didn't know which way was up and where the sea began. Where the skies collided with the dirt and delved into the inferno of the hells. The whispers of creatures that should have had no interest in a mortal caressing the shell of his ears. Beings he believed to be just as mortal as himself and if one observed their flaws they might have been. Walking the city grounds and sailing the oceans as easily as anyone. Blockades of fire and ice prevented their hands from intertwining. Now he balanced atop the wall. Grabbing both with shaky arms and keeping them close. Please don't leave. Fangs and claws used to claim him. Gentle kisses and caresses to calm him. Breathless words pulled him deeper into the madness. Further into inky darkness speckled with blinding light. Granting him everything he never knew he'd wanted. A dream come reality. Strange how love could spark from pain. How fickle. And how much he only wanted more. ((Heelloooo, thanks for clicking. :3 Its been quite a bit since I've written anything but I wanted to try something new. "They say you can't choose who you fall in love with, and he couldn't agree more. His sister's best friend had captured his heart, and he was consumed by his obsession for her and now, he knows he would never be able to let her go because she belongs with him." β€’ ✧ β€’ There's a kind of love that feels like sunlight - warm, gentle, safe. And then... there's his. It's not cruel. It's not loud. It's something far more dangerous - quiet, calculated, all-consuming. He was my best friend's brother. The man I was never supposed to notice. He watched from the shadows, memorizing me without ever needing a single word. I never really knew his name... but he knew everything about me. My fears. My patterns. My dreams. Even the parts I hadn't yet discovered myself. He's always been there, just a step behind-waiting, watching, wanting. And now, he's no longer waiting. He calls it love. I don't know what to call it, only that it pulls me in like gravity - unavoidable, inescapable. There's safety in his arms, yet danger in his silence. Gentleness in his touch, yet fire in his gaze. And somewhere in the tension between fear and longing, I find myself unraveling. Because the scariest part of being wanted like this... Is realizing you might want them back.

I learned a long time ago that him and I belonged in different worlds. Since forever, I'd reached out again and again, peeling back those thick layers to see the lonely boy I knew was underneath, just to have my hand slapped away. One thing a child learns though, is after their hand is slapped one too many times, they will avoid doing what caused the disciplinary action to happen. He always gets what he wants, and he knows that, and I know that. However, what am I supposed to do when he wants me? I've already given up on him, I lost interest. Hell, the sight of his gaze just makes my blood boil. I don't care about his money, I don't care about his name, I don't care about this new sudden burst of attention he's giving me. I don't care about HIM. Every argument that crackles between us leaves our lips stinging with unresolved tension he knows he caused. Every brush of our hands reminds me of all the cold things that left his lips. Even our parents don't want us in the same room! His mother thinks he could find a prettier woman, and mine says I deserve a loving man. We live oceans apart. I refuse to be another conquest for this immature boy. I can see it in his eyes now. He can't stop thinking of me. His gaze always lingers too long in my features, and his eyes soften when they lift and meet mine now. It doesn't matter though. He's the same man the boy was all those years ago. He is no different. Some wounds will never heal, but are some hearts worth breaking down every wall just to graze with your fingers?

"Loving you is exhausting and hard. Give me a freaking break." he said. "Then why are you still here?", she whispered with a pale and trembling voice, holding back the tears that were willing to fall down her cheeks. Laura never wanted to fall in love with someone she couldn't touch - someone who only existed behind a screen, a voice borne by time zones and poor connections. But Evan made distance seem hazardous. He made every silence burn. "You could've stopped talking to me." she said to him once. "I tried," he said. "You just wouldn't leave my fucking head." Somewhere in between their late-night phone calls and the words they never spoke, something real started to take shape - delicate, wrong, and beautiful. But love such as theirs was going to shatter. It was constructed on waiting, on jealousy, on all the things they couldn't have. And maybe that's the cruelest kind of love - the kind that feels infinite, but ends the moment you wake up. Until Aiden walked in - the man who was real, present, and everything Evan couldn't be. Aman who had actually been beside her even when she broke his heart, even when she drifted away to chase someone who made her heart ache in ways she never imagined. "He doesn't deserve you. please wake up Lau." Aiden told her. "Then why does it still feel like he's the one?" she whispered. "You're crazy." Somewhere between what she wanted and what she needed, Laura lost control. Between time zones and heartbreak, between messages and memories, something between them had shattered. Because sometimes, love doesn't ask you to choose between two people - it asks you to choose which part of yourself you're willing to destroy.

I was acting. When I laughed... When I said I loved him... When I held his hand in front of everyone, When I laid my head on his chest and closed my eyes as if I were safe. He was acting too. When he whispered my name... When he held my waist in front of others... When he smiled at me like he was seeing something no one else could see. We both knew this was a fake relationship. An agreement, a deal, a shared play. But the problem is... Now, I don't know if I'm still acting or not. I don't know if I'm lying. I don't know if I'm fooling them... Or just fooling myself. So now I wonder: Am I doing this because it's my role... Or because I've started to want it for real? Are these my looks... Or the gaze of the character I'm playing? Did I fall for him... Or did I just grow tired of pretending? I feel at ease when he's near. Sometimes, I wish the play would never end. But does he feel the same way I do... Or is he simply better at pretending? When he placed his coat over my shoulders... When he stared at me under the pretense of thinking... When he held me when no one was watching... And whispered, "We're not alone." Did he mean what he said? Is he acting? Or is he just... too afraid to admit it? Too afraid to admit that he's started to feel something... That we've gone off-script And we are now writing scenes That never existed in the script. Maybe we don't really fall in love... Maybe we just slowly stop lying. So what happens at the end... When we can no longer tell When the lies began- And when they stopped?

A scent. A scar. A slow-burning fucking romance dressed as nostalgia. It started with a fruit. Not love, not sex - a goddamn strawberry. The kind that looks like it's been kissed by every shade of red your childhood never had. He didn't share it. Didn't speak of it. Just tasted it once, and carried the ache ever since. Years later, she walked in - smelling exactly like that forgotten sweetness. Not perfume. Not fantasy. Just... truth. Sharp, quiet, terrifying truth. The kind that crawls under your skin and whispers remember me when you least want to. He lied to her face. About himself. About the million ways he'd already started unraveling. But she knew. Women like her always know. She stared at him like sin dressed in judgment - and touched his wrist like she already owned his pulse. And he? He was fucked. Because she wasn't just beautiful. She was red. That memory. That craving. And no matter how much he pretended to be in control - she was already in his bloodstream. This isn't a love story. It's a slow possession. By scent. By memory. By her. And it ends exactly how it starts - with him on his knees, and her smelling like fucking strawberries.
