This book takes place in the land of Eden in the year 1578 on the planet Pilia, where they speak the language of the Elves and English. The King and Queen are getting too old to rule, so the prince must find a guard from Eden to wed. However, some disagreements are getting deep, so a war is at hand. Cal and Ares must lead this fight. If Cal and Ares both survive, Cal might end up being Queen. Will they survive or will the land fall into tyranny? (please note that I am constantly changing things so make sure to check back!)

He is oddly gentle and an unreadable expression takes over his face. "Of course I do," he finally says, an inkling of pain on his pale face. "And I can have you live."
