In 2002, the Brieham University Crows' softball team have plans to attend an international softball camp in Japan after a record breaking season with stats that are otherwise unheard of in midwest United States. However, their trip is cut short when their plane crashes in eastern Russia, leaving them stranded for 15 months in the wilderness.
As authorities change and heads begin to clash, the pressure of being alone in the middle of nowhere, and the harsh climate, the Crows find themselves fighting not only the elements, but each other, and something even darker than lives within the ground.
