Pittsburgh trauma medical center had one claim to fame, and that claim was that it was the home of dr nika kekoa abbott. one of the best trauma surgeons in the world, with board certifications in 23 or the 38 possible specialties as deemed by the american board of medical specialties, no one could match the skills of the woman, no one could keep up, until nika met robbie robinavitch and the two became best friends. and soon, the duo of nika & robby became the group of nika, robby, jack, & abby, with frank on the side, the group of overworked barely standing doctors who cared more about their patients than they did themselves and consistently did the stupidest er cowboys sh*t ever seen on the face of planet earth to keep things running.
