When a student in Madeleine's creative writing class pens a raw, vulnerable play about mental health, identity, and coming out, the school assigns her and Ari to co-direct the production. What begins as an uneasy partnership becomes a mirror-one neither woman is prepared to look into.

As rehearsals unfold and walls begin to crack, Ari pushes Madeleine in ways no one ever has. But not every spotlight is kind. And for Madeleine, the cost of being seen may be more than she's willing to pay.
