Dazai disappears without a word. No warning, no explanation-just gone. Left behind in the wake of his absence is Chūya Nakahara: Port Mafia executive, feared ability user... and the only person who ever understood Dazai. But with that connection severed, Chūya finds himself unraveling, haunted by the ghost of an old partnership and an unresolved past he never truly let go of.

Meanwhile, Dazai isn't faring any better. Suffocating under the weight of his own choices, he struggles with the silence he forced upon himself-especially when the only person who ever truly anchored him is miles away and doesn't even now if his alive.

When Akutagawa and Atsushi-each watching their mentor spiral-begin to suspect that something deeper is wrong, it sets off a chain of events no one expected. In a rare agreement, Mori and Fukuzawa send their most volatile pairs on a joint mission, hoping proximity will lead to clarity... or at least survival.

Now forced to work together again, Chūya and Dazai must lean on each other for support. But people tend to forget how close love is to hate...
