As a celebrated setter for the Philippines Women's National Volleyball Team, she's used to the spotlight, the pressure, and the attention. But when she agrees to a month-long outreach program in the Visayas, she meets someone who doesn't fall so easily for her charm.

Mayor Atasha Tesoro of Argao is everything Martina isn't-disciplined, reserved, and deeply rooted in her responsibilities. The young mayor has no time for distractions, least of all from an athlete she assumes is only in town for a publicity stunt. But Martina surprises her. Underneath the media sparkle is a woman who speaks from the heart and connects effortlessly with the locals. Against her better judgment, Atasha starts to feel something.
