This is a rewrite of my most popular book.
Rhon wasn't really known as a compassionate person. Sure, he cared about his family- but he found it hard to care for much outside of that. Of course, his small bit of compassion was the reason he found himself smeared on the road like peanut butter on bread after his sister ran into the street to save a puppy.
