Powdered Sugar Cookie has never left the pastures of his family's flock. Shadow Raven Cookie disappears into alleyways and shadows, stealing not for greed, but survival. And Moonberry cookie, a young wizard in training? He's next in line to serve the crown-but he's beginning to doubt everything he's been taught.
When each of them experiences a strange, broken vision, a chance encounter draws them together. As their lives entwine, they begin unraveling a long-buried mystery. But some truths are too heavy to carry-and the legend they chase may be a warning written in crumbs and sorrow.
