They say people become friends because they have something in common.
They dont.
One have spent their entire life believing love has to be earned. One mistakes anger for protection because its all they've ever known and taught. One has mastered the art of disappearing before anyone can leave them first. Different lives. Different scars. Different ways of surviving
By all means, they should have remained strangers.
Instead, they become each others constant.
There are no grand declarations, no miraculous healing and no promises that everything will be okay. Just shared meals after terrible days, quiet nights spent sitting on the floor in comfortable silence and the unspoken understanding that no matter how unbearable life becomes, none of them has to face it alone.
Maybe thats what friendship really is. not finding someone who can fix it the parts of you that are broken but finding people willing to stay long enough to watch you put yourself back together pieces by trembling pieces.
But there's a lot of plot twists in their friendship, ups and downs too. Until they can't be together anymore.
