"I'm moving and there's nothing you can do about it. Messing around with you has been amazing, but I can't have anything holding me back," I lied straight to his face and his jaw clenched at the casual mention of us fooling around.

"You know damn well what we had was not 'messing around'," He said angrily and I forced myself to shrug my shoulders as I turned to continue packing another box.

"It was to me."

It almost physically hurt me to lie that way to him. My heart clenched and my stomach twisted as he stayed silent.

"Fine. Go then. Leave," Greyson spit out. "This never would have worked in the end."

I could hear the hurt and the fire in his voice before listening to him walk to the doorway of my bedroom. I froze as I waited for him to say something. He stood there for a moment before I heard him take a deep breath.

"Have a nice life, Rose."
