Jakub Lauko is a player for the Boston Bruins. He's had his fair share of girls only wanting him for his status. He's been through it-hookups, dates, and even exes who just used him for what he had. And he's sick of it.

One day, Jakub is at his favorite Boston café before practice. He bumps into a girl, Angelina Styles, and he apologizes profusely. Normally, the girls would realize who he was and fawn over him. But not this girl.

That intrigued him. But she got away before he could get her number. One day, he saw her at a game. He skated to the bench, wrote something on a puck, and skated back over to her and tossed it over.

Angelina caught it and was confused when she looked at it. What was written on the puck was "call me ;)" with his phone number. She looked at her best friend, Gianna, who was squealing.

Angelina, being a non-sports fan, was super confused. Her friend Gianna was a huge hockey fan who had won two glass seats, so Angelina just ended up being dragged to the game.

Due to Angelina's confusion, Gianna explained to her what just happened. Gianna told Angelina that a Bruins player had just given her his phone number. Angelina thought, "Cool. But I don't care all that much."

But oh, she would care sooner or later. She and Jakub got to know each other. For Jakub, it was a breath of fresh air to have a girl who wanted him for who he was, and not for his status. And for her? It was nice to find a guy who truly loved her.
