Never Too Late
Maya had learnt to believe that silence was safer than the truth. For years, she learned to measure her words, tiptoe around fury, and wear a smile that masked the slow unravelling of her spirit. But when the fear began to reach not just her, but her daughter's eyes-wide and too wise for their age-Maya knew she couldn't stay silent anymore. After losing her job and amongst the aftermath of a home in chaos, with nothing but a small suitcase and a trembling hand clutching her daughter's, she left. The farm was never part of the plan. It was run-down, overgrown, and far from everything she'd ever known. But in its quiet stillness, Maya found something unexpected-space to breathe, to heal, and to begin again. She rebuilt not just the house, but herself. And when she thought her heart had closed for good, someone came along with eyes full of patience and hands that only knew how to hold, not harm. This is Maya's story. Of survival, of strength, and of learning that love-real love-doesn't hurt, it heals.
Fractured Souls
"You believe you've seen the dark? Sweetheart, you are absolutely adorable." I said my voice dark and humorous. "Darkness is so much more complex. So much more... tempting." I said my tongue darting out, licking my lips. "It creeps up on you... and before you know it..." I paused and slowly walked around him massaging his shoulders. "It has taken a hold off you," I said and grabbed him by the throat from behind, tilting his head back, and made him look at me. He gasped as his eyes found mine. "What happened to You?" He croaked. A smirk crept onto my face. "Nothing sweetie. I'm simply showing my true colors." I chuckled humourlessly. ..... Love in the Time of Zombies: An Apocalyptic Romance
This novel is a zom-com-rom, blending a zombie apocalypse with humor and romance. "Good morning, welcome to Grand Crest Hotel. May I have the name under which the room is booked?" "Han So Hee," she replied. The receptionist typed quickly on the keyboard. "Ah, yes, Ms. Han. You're in room 1102 on the 12th floor." She handed her the room key card. . . she found a convenience store connected to the mall, purchased some samgak-Gimbap, and ate quickly. she stepped outside, expecting the usual bustle of evening activity. As she scanned the empty area, her eyes caught a figure-a man standing far away, motionless. Something about the way he stood unsettled her. Then, out of nowhere, a group of people rushed toward him. Startled, Han took out her phone, recording the scene from a distance. "What's going on?" she wondered. Planning to at least send the video to the police. "I shouldn't get involved in a street fight when I just landed here, right? ..." "Ugh ... I don't Know ..." She stepped closer, but what she saw next made her freeze in fear. The group wasn't just attacking the man. They were biting him, tearing at his flesh, their movements jerky and unnatural. Her stomach churned as her mind screamed the truth: "they weren't people. They were something far worse." . . "How did I end up here?" she wondered. "This feels like something straight out of a drama..." . . "How do people in dramas do this? she thought, feeling the sharp ache of hunger gnawing at her insides. They train for days without eating, and somehow they're fine. But here I am, struggling to even think straight." . . . She have to survive this with... ..Training.. ..Finding other survivors.. ..Finding a Safe Place.. ..or.. .. ..Finding Love..?Complete![Hellfire ✿ The Doctor [3]](https://img.wattpad.com/cover/287921351-256-k38996.jpg)
Hellfire ✿ The Doctor [3]
"'Doctor...' She sighed, meeting his eyes for the first time since she saw him in the diner, 'My dear sweet and beautiful Doctor.' Her hands drifted up from his shoulders to cup his face, running her thumbs across his cheekbones gently. She leaned up and kissed him softly, a kiss so soft and so gentle yet so full of emotion. Pain, love, anxiety, need, all of these flowed through the kiss, leaving him stunned but he returned the kiss nonetheless." *** Now a full Time Lady, Avery Tyler has finally figured out her role in the TARDIS and with the Doctor. With Rassilon sent back to Gallifrey and the Doctor at her side, she thinks she ready to truly take a life of adventure. Finding a new family in the form of Rory Williams and Amelia Pond had not been a part of her plan, but one she welcomed happily. However, with the threat of the Silence creeping around her and threatening those she loved, maybe the Bad Wolf was not something she should fear anymore, but something to embrace. After all, nothing was more dangerous than a woman in love. (I only own Avery and her story line. I do not own Doctor Who or any of it's characters. All original ownership goes to BBC.) Cassandra Oracle is a scientist. She calculates probabilities, maps out the differentials and keeps her findings to the fourth decimal point at least, in order to ensure accuracy. But when she gets accidentally transported to a universe she thought fiction (thanks to the machine. she'd been working on), with a head-full of foreknowledge she shouldn't have about events to come. (thanks to her obsessions with a certain TV show), she realises that some things will never be explained neatly and precisely. When the Sun Sets ☼ Eleven x Reader
Voted one of the fan favourite doctor who books! 'I'm glad you came back for me, Rory,' 'Are you? Or are you just glad I helped you find him?' [-] No one ever heard much about Rory Williams' little sister. To most, she was little more than 'Amy's friend' or 'Rory's sister'- but as soon as she stepped into the TARDIS on the day of June 26th, she should have known she would be something more than that to the mysterious Time Lord that piloted the ship. Much, much more.
