"Is everything okay angel?" She just looks up at me and hands me a small box. "What's this?"
"Just open it" she says with a shaky and scared tone. I can also see she's holding back tears. Like I've said before I've known her for a long time and I can tell when she's sad, scared, excited.
"Okay" I say, pulling off the top of the box. I pull the tissue paper off the top and pull out a pair of small cowboy boots. I then look at the bottom of the box and see a random picture and pull it out. I look up at Lainey a little confused.
"I'm pregnant Jett. Fourteen weeks"

She didn't have a problem with that; she loves being alone, enjoying binge-ing TV shows, finishing an entire can of Ben&Jerry's by herself and, sometimes, calling her only best friend to chat. One day, a new boy transfers into her school. He's distant, cold and sometimes even funny. I was 16 years old when I found out that it was possible. I was living in an apartment with my boyfriend at that time. He and I took our high school classes online together. I met him when we were 14, just being dumb and clueless. I didn't know that I'll be his girlfriend at the age of 15 or that I was going to live on my own when I'm 16. I was just in my curious 14 year old body trying to get over my new monthly bleeding schedule. He and I wanted to become actors as a career, so we took college classes as well. At age 16, I worked 2 jobs at the mall and he was fixing cars at his father's garage shop. We were happy and in love. During our 16th year of age, we decided to do the big IT. It was amazing since we both took each others' virginity and luckily knew how to use condoms. It was impossible to stop. We did it non-stop, but that ended quickly when I stepped out of the bathroom with tears in my eyes. I was pregnant with Matthew Connor's baby. And I wasn't ready.
