In Karon, there's a common belief that demons have no concept of morality, empathy or even family, but they fear death. Therefore, they are evil, since they, even with that fear, don't value life.
Sam was a sixteen year old that enjoyed fighting against his friends with wooden swords and passing time with his uncle, but a seemingly normal day, a tragedy involving holidays, the mafia, friends, and weird names made their lives start over, this time in another world, Karon, him under the name of the demon Shinto.
He and his friends always dreamed about the chance of going to a world filled with magic together, but that idea will rapidly change as they struggle to meet each other.
