Mermaids have returned to Forks. They have been extinct for 300 years...why did they come back, what do they want? Carlisle only met one once, centuries ago....they are dangerous and more animal then human...vicious and bloodthirsty.... the cold dense fog rolls in.....somethings out there and whatever it is has been killing local fishermen and sinking their boats, stealing their fish.....all of forks Washington is buzzing with whispers and fears of sharks...but perhaps its more personal then carlisle expected....a ghost from his past he never imagined he'd see again.
