Crystal Winston is a 14 year old girl who lives in New York with her abusive parents. She can't wait to get out of her toxic household and never see them again. But her world comes down when her parents die and she is sent to live in Tulsa, Oklahoma with her older brother, Dallas. She hasn't seen him since she was 10 years old, and only knew he still was committing crimes. She is thrown into a town with weird social groups and a new school. The streets of New York were something, but now she has to face the town of Tulsa.
