Giant/Tiny story
On a forgotten stretch of ocean, a young woman awakens on the shore of an uncharted island-alone, sunburnt, and haunted by fragments of drowning. She remembers dark water, an impossible hand, eyes the size of lanterns watching her from the deep.

Beneath the waves, something ancient stirs. A towering merman, thirty feet from crown to tail, drifts through the depths with a mind as vast and slow as the sea itself. Solitary and solemn, he has long forgotten companionship-until he finds her. Fragile. Alien. Loud. And alive.

Their worlds should never have touched, yet now they orbit each other with a growing, dangerous curiosity. He watches her from the surf. She fears him-and cannot look away.
