★ ★ Yelena Belova didn't do "normal." Not really. She'd tried once-dogs, takeout, a playlist full of 2000s pop-and even then, it still felt like she was walking around in a life that wasn't built for someone like her. She was made to fight, to run, to endure. Anything soft was a liability. So when Natasha invited her to one of those quiet gatherings she liked to pretend were casual-just some old Avengers, no suits, no weapons, just drinks and catching up-Yelena almost didn't go. She should've trusted her instincts. Because that was the night she met her. The girl with the sharp eyes, easy laugh, and an energy like she belonged in every room without even trying. A little bit reckless and a little too clever. Stark. Tony Stark's daughter Sophie Louise. Yelena had never believed in fate. But in that moment, it felt like the universe had a twisted sense of humor, because when she stepped in the room and saw her for the first time, she felt nothing and everything. Because the girl was everything Yelena wasn't. Brilliant, loud, golden. And somehow, impossibly, she saw Yelena-not the Widow, not the assassin. Just her. Yelena didn't fall easily. But this? This wasn't a fall. It was a slow, inevitable pull into something terrifying, and maybe-just maybe-worth the risk.

Natasha Romanoff has been described as many things: a killer, cold, heartless, emotionally unavailable. And she is. But she was not always like that. She has a daughter, or had one. One that died during birth. Or at least that's what she was told. Because of that, she became all of those things. But her world is turned upside down when she finds out that not only is her daughter alive, but she grew up in the Red Room. She will do anything to have her daughter back with her. Will she find her daughter? Will her daughter know who she is and accept her? What will her daughter be like having grown up in the place that teaches their students to hate people like Natasha? "She was the secret her mother lost, and the truth she must now become." Some ages will be altered to fit the storyline better. The writing will get better as the story progresses, I promise! Potential triggers: -Fighting/violence -trauma -eating disorder -self-harm
