In New York City, the four turtle brothers venture out the sewers to do justice within the shadows with the help of their colleague April O'Neal and their Sensai Splinter, but a new vigilante rises from the darkness and it happens to be a normal looking human teen girl, but she seems to be more complex than she looks.

From the boys' point of view on recent stakeouts, she seems to be very fast and cat-like. At one scene after she handled robbers trying to snatch a little girl, it shows that culprit violently stabs the perpetrators, then ties them up hanging upside down like bats when apprehended and leaves grotesque bite marks on their necks. The gang plan to seek out this vigilante, find out what she knows, and possibly befriend her, but they still stay weary in case they accidentally get more than blood on their hands.
