Charlotte Moss, a sixteen year old in the cosy town of Carmine Hollow has a fairly regular life. Well, until she has an argument with her father, finding herself by the abandoned church during a walk that she took to try and cool off. Her father's car pulls up and she decides to follow him. This would turn out to be one of the worst decisions she has ever made as her life becomes forever changed.
