In a realm fractured by power, bloodlines, and buried gods, seventeen-year-old Xandria has never known peace-only the cold steel of her blades and the weight of a mother's death she's never stopped blaming on the Saints. Haunted by a legacy she didn't ask for and drawn into a rebellion known as the Illiax, Xandria is forced to navigate a world of ancient magic, brutal tournaments, and ruthless ambition. Her closest friend, Demetrius, is slipping into darkness; her mentor hides lethal secrets; and the mysterious Saint Erebus-god, murderer, myth-may hold the key to everything she's lost. As alliances shift and the crown tightens its grip, Xandria must decide if she's a weapon to be wielded or a force to be reckoned with. But when love, vengeance, and fate collide, the question isn't whether she'll survive. It's who she'll become when everything burns.

Furious

The gods are dying and and only Hades knows why. There is nothing quite as frustrating as being the last person to know what's going on. Most days it seems like the whole world knows something Autumn doesn't-the whole Underworld, anyway. For 18 year-old Autumn, the biggest obstacles in her foreseeable future are paying for college and staying out of trouble. She doesn't need gods of half-forgotten myths swooping in to alter her course-but Hector, the second incarnation of the Lord of the Underworld, has never been one to sit back and watch the world burn. Enter Autumn, unknowing, untrained, unwilling Fury: the perfect secret weapon in a secret war of the gods. Hector and Autumn strike a bargain but the more Autumn gets to know the inhabitants of the Underworld, the further she gets from her all-too-human problems. Who can think about homework or consequences when all of the gods are dying? With the help-or the hindrance-of the Fates, Autumn must train with Harpies, Furies, and other creatures formerly of myth to win an impending war for Hector, restore the ambrosia to Olympus, and be home in time for graduation. All in a Tuesday's work.
