it's been too long. I must admit journaling becomes difficult when you're running from yourself. Now I see, I owe it to myself. I must confess I fell in love. I thought I had known it before. I once believed it grew in the warmth of Stefan's embrace, thought it lingered in the way Damon's gaze yearned for mine. But now I know that wasn't love. It was lust, infatuation.
Love consumes you. It leaves no stone of your mind unturned. It's the air you breathe when they are near. It the cold that ices your veins when they are not. It is the pull that brings you to your knees for them even when you are cross. It is the way your heart beats when they smile. It is hope and fear. I tried to hustle as fast as I could, but suddenly, someone ran into me. I dropped all my books, trying to pick them up. "Let me help you." Said a low, but gentle voice. I picked up my books, but slowly looked up to see a pale man, his hair a dark color brown, his eyes were a hazel like, and he was smiling. Was he new? I run my finger down my hair, looking at him. "I'm so sorry.. I didint see you." I say, gluing my eyes on the pale man. He nodded to me. "Ah, it's quite alright. What's your name?" He asked. I looked at him, rasing a brow. "Oh.. Y/n.." I mumbled. The man smiled at me. "Hello, y/n. My name is Stefan. Stefan Salvatore."
