Phil Lester is your average twenty two year old: studying hard in Uni, having a rough time paying the rent, and being bullied endlessly. And then one night, everything changes.
Phil accidentally signs himself into a contract to pretend to be the boyfriend to none other than Dan Howell, a punk rock singer and actor who had been put through serious rehab only months before. Slowly, Phil starts to fall in love with Dan and realizes that even Mr. Right can be a little wrong sometimes.
