This is poem is written in Jamaican dialect and language called Patois, also referred to as Patwa. It describes the lust those from other countries who are often rich in roots and culture tend to have for bigger countries, only to come to those bigger countries to find out that the material wealth and fashionable lifestyle cannot fill the void of a culture lost.
