Upon looking for a quick cash grab to help out his mom, Chase gets the opportunity to test out the new VR horror game technology created by a company called "Ex Libris," named after its extensive library of artificial intelligence software. He hopes to use this new, immersive tech to live out the popstar fantasy of his dreams, but soon learns that doing this will lead to a nightmare that reveals the realities of being a blonde bombshell in a world that keeps shifting around his own intrusive thoughts, holding up a mirror up to the idolization of his own celebrity crush. It doesn't take long before he realizes that he cannot simply escape whatever he's gotten himself into. Luckily, one of Ex Libris' employees come into the game after him, but it's the oddly familiar raven haired guy whom he may or may not have met last night.
If only he could remember anything that happened last night...
