‧₊˚♪ 𝄞₊˚⊹ started : 04-23-25 Raine Lady Primrose. She's the glittering "𝐢𝐭 𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥" of her high school. With glossy lips, designer outfits, and all the riches in the world, she had it all. But behind all of that glam? Her grades are plummeting faster than she could say "𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐚". With the possibility of academic probation and her reputation possibly going 𝐩𝐨𝐨𝐟. Raine finds herself backed into a corner. Well, until the school ropes her into a peer-tutoring program with 𝐡𝐢𝐦. 𝐃𝐞𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐯𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐛𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐧. Top of his class. Sharp jawline and even sharper retorts. The president of the debate club, lover of books that are thicker than Raine's patience, and the literal human embodiment of judgmental stares and black eyeshadow. He's not exactly 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 to babysit the pinkest girl on campus, and she's definitely not used to taking notes from a guy who looks like they have weaponized eye contact. But even so, through the ups and downs of their sessions, something else 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐝 within them that made the air shift. Whether it'd be glances that lingered for too long, the accidental brush of fingers when passing a notebook, or the quiet way of he'd correct her mistakes without a slightest hint of condescension. Something was changing. He started to laugh more. She started to listen more intently. And somewhere between sighs of frustration and triumphant high-fives over solved questions, Dee found himself remembering Raine's favorite drink order. And Raine? She started to actually find Dee's dry sarcasm funny. What started as a last-resort to restore academic life, slowly, inevitably, began to feel like 𝐟𝐚𝐭𝐞.

[Unstable Minds #1] "Has my little girl been drinking?" He asks teasingly, his head tilting to the side as his eyes run over my now tear-stained face. I couldn't breathe properly, what was he going to do to me? Was he going to kill me? No- he wouldn't, would he? "Speak!" He yells in my face causing me to flinch back, a sob crawling up my throat as more tears fall from my eyes. I nod my head frantically. "Y-yes!" He lifts his hand up, I couldn't help but flinch back when the pad of his thumb came down on my cheek, wiping away the tears that wouldn't stop falling. "Don't cry baby, we're going to spend some time together. Just you and I." ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀༄༄༄ ⠀⠀⠀ Ezio Shaw; a 30-year-old college professor.
