Oh my god, this was written in fifth grade (with attempts to edit and fix it in 9th before promptly giving up) and I thought it was peak writing at the time. Although it's pretty normal to have gay people around, Alexander is an exception. No one chooses to do anything when seeing him be attacked by people due to his sexuality.
