Carter and Alexis. Brother and sister. Ages 8 and 5. Orphans.

Carter and Alexis were having a normal life, until one day they went with their parents on a trip.

On the way to their destination, a drunk driver drove into them, pushing their car, making it roll down the road.

Carter managed to quickly release himself, and went to help his little sister. After he got her out, he wanted to help their parents.

"Go! We'll be fine! We'll come soon! Just get away from the car! " They yelled at Carter and Alexis.

As they were walking away from the car, they heard a loud boom. They looked back, to see the car they were sitting in just two minutes ago, in flames.

Alexis was too young to understand, nor remember, but Carter, well that's a whole different story.

Ever since, the two were living in the streets of New-York.

Alexis was a curious little girl, and asked her elder brother many questions. Most of them, he himself didn't know the answer to.
