Maddie James is a 16 year old foster child. She's lucky to have families take her in but it's not the best when they abuse her daily. She's learned to cope with the pain but not in good ways. When Maddie gets adopted and is sent miles and miles away from everywhere she's ever known she doesn't know what to make of it.
