June is a 14 year old girl who lives in Minnesota. The story takes place at a swim meet where the boy June has liked since 3rd grade (John) shows up. June, thinking he wouldn't show up is suprised, later that evening June gets an injury during one of her swim meet races. Is John a hero? You'll have to see.
