He was lost, not in another galaxy, but in another universe. A universe where he and his friends had never set foot on this earth.
So, when the spring ended and the summer came. Optimus parked himself in an alley in New York City. Calming down, analyzing, and figuring out what happened and how he could get back to his universe. Until one day someone called out to him.

After the confrontation with Skyquake, Ratchet tried to employ the same tactic the decepticons used to hopefully find more help. Luckily Ratchet's efforts worked and found a signal that led to a crash site of a ship. After taking the ground bridge to the crash site and looking through the wreckage and the ship's log, they learned that there was a bot that flew the ship and they were in a stasis pod. After opening the pod revealing the bot inside, the autobots then learned the bot in question was named Hauler, leader of the Relentless Renegades, one of the most effective teams known on Cybertron. With Hauler's skills and brutal effectiveness, he will help turn the tide of the war for the Autobots.
