I'm gonna be honest this is for gits and shiggles
me and my wife play Aphrodite and Calypso in Epic the Musical; The Cover Saga and so we randomly decided to ship the characters together. this is simply a product of that. I don't actually know too much about Greek mythology so most of this is probably inaccurate feel free to correct me but I probably won't change anything
ANYWAY
Aphrodite finds herself cast away on a strange island and meets a peculiar woman whom she'd never met before, with absolutely no recollection of how she got there. After the heartbreak of losing Odysseus, Calypso fell into a deep depression, trying to find a way to break her curse of immortality.

In the age of heroes, gods, and war, the world forgot her name. Born under a bleeding moon, (Name) was the divine child of Nyx, goddess of night, and Aether, god of upper air and light-an impossible union never meant to happen. To hide the shame of their union, the gods misplaced her thread in the Loom of Fate. She was cast down to the mortal world, raised in the shadows as a girl with eyes like galaxies and power she never asked for. But fate doesn't forget. It waits. It obsesses. As a young woman, she marries Odysseus and Penelope in secret-three hearts bound in a rare and sacred union. When war calls Odysseus to Troy, (Name) defies every expectation and joins him, setting sail as his equal, his protector, and unknowingly, the object of everyone's unraveling. On this journey, (Name) becomes the eye of a storm she never meant to summon: • Gods fall in love with her. And not gently. • Demigods chase her like moths to divine flame. • Monsters let her live when they should have killed. • Penelope, back in Ithaca, becomes possessive and wrathful in her longing. • Odysseus loses battles from jealousy alone, afraid someone will touch what's his. Many forget that the goddess of love was born from the raging sea, but she would do anything to protect her daughter. Adora was Aphrodite's last daughter. Her mother kept her hidden. But, her mother isn't the only one who can keep a secret, especially in a world where your role in society is everything. For there was a prophecy long before she was born: 'Aphrodite's last child would be the one to take the throne, Her paternity unknown. They would carve her face and never forget, for she would be the most beautiful that they had met Cursed for the same fate as her mother Forced to leave her love for another The only way she shall break this curse is if she defeats the first' "Looks like the princess doesn't need saving after all." He says, quietly enough that no one else would hear, as he draws his hand away from my arm. I glare back at him. "Maybe she never did," I walk away, not sparing a single glance back, no matter how much my body was begging me to. I fuss over my hair, pouting as I run my fingers through it to put it back into place. *A warning note* I am not an expert on Greek Mythology, but it interests me greatly. Please excuse any inaccuracies in the book, but if there are any please do message or comment it and I will see if I can change it without making such a huge difference to the plot. Also, my main character is autistic and the experience will be different for everyone. I have tried my hardest to put down on paper how I feel and how I believe others see me. So, please be respectful about the decisions my characters make as I have chosen to give them many different types of neurodivergent brains. I have tried my best to represent these in the most accurate light whilst not romanticising them.Concluida
