Ethan has always taken pride in his work at Café Solana, a quiet little spot where the coffee is strong and the sunsets through the front window are even stronger. Calm, reliable, and slightly territorial about the espresso machine, Ethan isn't exactly thrilled when a new hire shows up with zero experience and way too much charm.

Enter Keith-messy-haired, all smiles, and hopeless at latte art. She's late on her first day, talks back too much, and somehow gets everyone in the café to like her except Ethan.
