Aimee Thompson arrives in Montepulciano with a suitcase, a broken heart, and a vow to start over. Fleeing the wreckage of her life in Yorkshire, she takes a job at a charming, crumbling music school nestled in the hills of Tuscany-where nothing is quite as idyllic as it first seems. With her Italian barely functional and her trust in people even worse, Aimee is determined to keep her distance. But between the students, the tangled dynamics among staff, and a brooding local baker with secrets of his own, the past proves harder to outrun than she thought. In a town built on history and harmony, Aimee will have to decide if she's ready to find her voice again-or disappear completely.

Ms Capri

Chloe doesn't believe in second chances. Not at Nevermore Academy, not in life, and definitely not for herself. She's eighteen, restless, and drowning in habits she doesn't talk about out loud. Then there's Ms. Isadora Caprii. Thirty-eight, unshakably composed, a music teacher whose hands can turn silence into something that hurts to listen to. She's strict, elegant, and leaves no room for excuses - but beneath the precision, there's a kind of warmth Chloe doesn't know what to do with. What starts as stolen glances and sharp words in class slowly twists into something heavier. Something dangerous. Something that makes Chloe wonder if maybe, just maybe, she isn't as hopeless as she thought. A slow-burn obsession where every note lingers too long, every lesson feels too close, and the line between discipline and desire blurs like smoke.
