Adam and Cyrus are sent by Professor Fuji on a field trip to the lake and Adam takes the system. It turns him into a Kamen Rider, an unknown being to plenty people of the world. The symptoms of the disease are summarized to strong pain, having flowers blooming in the heart and lungs, and then throwing them up. The disease begins with coughing up a few petals and growing in intensity (and pain) until the victim is vomiting entire flowers, by which point the disease has entered its final stages...
