The Creature

It was the summer of '82, the sun was shining, the sky was clear. Her name was Kayla McIntosh; she had just moved to town at the beginning of July. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary to her; then again, she only ever saw the logic side of things. She was more book smart than street smart, so her survival skills were terrible. That all changed in the middle of June of course, there had been reports of kids going missing all over town. All of the cases were closed since there was no evidence of who was doing it. Well, all of them were closed, but one, Lance Perkins, he was the mayor's son. He had been out at a party with some friends when he disappeared.
