Many of you are familiar with my experiences at Camp Cretaceous and beyond, but you may not know much about my life before that. I was just eleven when the crash occurred-the event that changed everything for me.
It was meant to be a Christmas trip to Costa Rica, filled with sunshine and family. However, somewhere between the coast and the unknown, the sky turned against us. Our plane went down near Isla Sorna, and when I regained consciousness, I discovered that I was not alone; my sister Samantha and three others were with me.
One by one, they fell victim to the creatures of the island that my Grandpa Alan had warned me about.
After four long years, I was finally rescued, but by that time, I had changed. The island had taken too much from me. It transformed me in ways I never expected, but it also prepared me for whatever challenges lay ahead. The island turned me into a Survivor.
This is the story of how I survived Isla Sorna.
