🌻 This is a soft divergence AU of Hogwarts Legacy, where the world is a little kinder, and hearts get to heal instead of break.
👉 In this version of the story, Anne Sallow is alive and well, Sebastian hasn't gone down a dark path (yet?), and our protagonist, Nina, is a transfer student from Beauxbatons learning to navigate Hogwarts, Slytherin House, and one particularly guarded, sharp-tongued boy with clouded eyes and a complicated past.
You won't find relics or grand lore here - but you will find slow-burn friendships, awkward teenage crushes, stolen glances, cozy common rooms, quiet grief, and maybe... a little more.
📌 Canon tweaks:
Garreth replaces Leander in early scenes (because let's be real: who needs Leander).
Henrietta is an original side character with big Hermione Granger energy. Think of her as a tiny wink to the larger HP universe. I also added other side characters here and there (for ex. an ancestor of the Malfoys) just for the flow.
I know I did Imelda dirty here (I think she's great), but I needed someone to play the mean girl and she happily took the job.
☝️ Storyline-wise, this fic diverges early from the game and reimagines many events through a lighter, more character-driven lens.
⚠️ Trigger warning: there are no triggers. Unless you count excessive fluff, snarky banter, or slow emotional unraveling. Proceed with tea.
