Karkat is a sophomore in High school. He lives his life gliding bitterly under the radar until one day he accidentally bumps into football captain Eridan Ampora. As tragedy begins to greet Karkat at every corner, he finds himself hanging around the jock more often than he ever expected to.
Alternatively: A high school AU where when two trolls who happen to be soul mates touch each other's chests, their chests glow.
