Aaliyah just moved from sunny Florida to New York City for art school. During winter vacation her plans to visit family is cancelled due to an impending storm. Despite not believing in fate, she agrees to her fate-led neighbors apartment building get together. There she meets Madeline. A girl who she falls in love with. Madeline is a spunky college student whose living alone for her first time. Despite being a native New Yorker, she feels very out of place. When she meets Aaliyah, she immediately falls in love. When a failed Christmas party leads to a late night get to know each other, she falls even deeper. Spring Will Come, is a short story about two lesbians who despite the rampaging weather and unfortunate events fall in love and manage to pull through.
