In the 1980s, a group of scientists in Boston tried to get access to the world between ours and another called liminal spaces. In these experiments, they used kids to see if they could see the spaces. Afterwards, in 2016 A teenager named Damien feels the past coming back to haunt him.

⚠️this is a weirdcore/dreamcore type story, so please read with caution if it may cause you to dissociate!!⚠️ A young girl and her little sister have glitched out of reality, and are now in a liminal place. The girl has been here before, and is determined to get herself and her sister out of this place. However, when she runs into old friends, she finds out that she is one of very few humans who has successfully glitched here twice (let alone by accident). Now she needs to find out if 'home' is the place she grew up in, or if she really does belong here. She needs to make some tough choices. Stay here forever and send her little sister out on her own, or leave and risk injury, even death, if she gets taken through the backrooms for a third time after arriving back 'home' to reality.
