Vera Volkov wasn't supposed to be his wife, Her cousin was.
After everything, after all the work and love Roman Korolyov had put into loving Eleana just for it to go and get nowhere he was over it. He was stripped of his emotions, locked in a marriage he never wanted, never thought he needed, But maybe he did.
The saddest thing about this is the fact Vera had been in love with him since she could remember his darkness had always lured her in but unfortunately for her she was shy during her freshman year of highschool couldn't bare to ever express her interest in the boy, she was a freshman and he was junior also her brothers best friend she knew she had no chance, he would look as her as she was a kid to him.
Vera confessed these feelings to her older cousin Elena, Elena discouraged her and told her due to the fact he was Her brother's best friend he would never give her a chance nor would Vlad- Her brother, let that slide so she let it go. Just for Elena to end up with Roman the next week. A power couple they were.
Ever since that day she has wore luxury like armor, she found her confidence and courage. she walked through any and every room like she owned it. Her feelings for Roman never changed though and if she ever got the chance would not lose it. luckily for her she's next in line.
But how unlucky, how unfortunate is it to be with a man you love but also a man who can't stand you. Is his coldness something that she can bare, is it something she won't stand for and take?
