"Part 1: Her Childhood Wasn't Small" Meher was four when she learned that love could be measured by inches-by how close you slept to the center of the bed, or how tightly someone held your hand. Raised in a home where silence screamed louder than words, she grew up invisible in her mother's shadow and constantly trying to earn her father's approval. As secrets surfaced and favoritism drew lines in her family, Meher carried her pain in quiet, learned strength as performance, and swallowed love like a test she could never quite pass. This is the story of who she was *before the world saw her as anything more than a daughter*. Of a girl who felt too much in a world that asked her to feel less. Of how a tender heart begins to harden-slowly, beautifully, and tragically.

She hadn't cried when the doctor said it. But now, in the privacy of their room, everything felt real. "Meher..." Arhan's voice was quiet, almost hesitant. She didn't reply. He moved closer, sitting beside her, leaving a respectful distance. "I shouldn't have raised my voice earlier. I... I was frustrated, not with you. The surgery failed. I failed. And then... when I saw you in pain-" "You didn't even look at me properly, Arhan," Meher whispered, her voice cracking. "I didn't expect much, but... a little warmth?" Arhan clenched his fists. He had always prided himself on being composed, rational. But Meher's words struck something deeper. He turned to her slowly and took her hand. "I was scared too. That I'd lose you, or that you'd hate me for not being there during ..................... I didn't know how to process it all." Meher finally looked up, tears glistening in her eyes. Arhan leaned forward and gently kissed her forehead. "I'm with you now. Every step. Every pain. No more silence, okay?" She rested her head on his shoulder, and he wrapped his arm around her, pulling her close for the first time-not as husband and wife by name, but by heart. Outside, the world moved on. But inside that room, something changed-something real, finally beginning. ----
