This is a story about an odd gem in an odd world that he wasnt allowed to understand. This story takes place in my own Steven Universe AU where Rose was the leader of the rebellion but after the wars she hid herself and a few of her closest allies on a planet in an unkown star system. The rest of her followers are mostly still alive, I wanted there to be tons more crystal gems but for there to also be some of the gem monsters we know about. In my AU there are gems who prefer female pronouns, male pronouns, some who switch with every form they have, and some who prefer to have they/them pronouns. There is magic on this Earth but the gems and the magic folk of Earth are unaware if each other, but in another star system controlled by the Crystal Gems there are planets where the magic folk and gems live together (There are three gem controlled star systems: ours, the Sol system, the Rhea-Bella system, or the Rebel system, and the Stella Magna Album system, or just the Stella system.)

Maybe in another universe we could've been together, in a universe where fairytales do exist and happy endings are real. Maybe, in another universe -Rose Rose always lived a simple life, between being a straight A student and in the running to join the Olympic figure skating team she lives life to it's fullest until the accident. The Strange Gem ( Gem!Reader x Steven Universe Various)
VERY VERY VERY VERY SLOW UPDATES! Many years ago, a gem emerged on the homeworld near the diamond palace. Pink, being the first one to recognize a gem emerging, told the other 3 diamonds about the information. As all four of them watched the new gem merge, it was discovered that the gem was born with two gems instead of one. Instead of shattering the gem, white diamond decided to keep them as they were a rare cut gem with an abnormal two gems instead of one. After the discovery, they decided to name the gem, Y/N. Y/N soon lived underneath the Diamonds and was treated as if she was a diamond herself. After Pink shattered, Y/N was heavily protected and had a harness around her at all times, always around either the diamonds or heavily guarded by two topazes and a jasper. After being allowed to roam around the Gem Warship, she was stopped by Steven who convinced her to help him find his friends and escape. After the explosion, she was founded by The Crystal Gems and was officially their 'hostage'. From being heavily guarded and kept within eyes sight and inside her whole life into being outside and experiencing many different emotions for the first time. This is when her story begins.
