"Roads are weird, aren't they?"
Heeseung's voice was quiet, almost lost beneath the crackling of the bonfire and the distant crash of waves.
I tilted my head. "Weird how?"

He twirled a stick between his fingers, tapping it against his knee. "They take you places, but they also take you away from places. Sometimes they bring you back. Sometimes they don't."

"Heeseung.." I started. "But what if we're standing on different roads?"

"Then maybe our roads are only apart for now... maybe they're just waiting for the right moment to cross again."
